Steve Bliss
Steve Bliss has lived in central Virginia for over 35 years. He spent his childhood traveling the USA and the world on US Air Force bases. Steve grew up in Japan and has a lifetime fascination with other cultures. In college at Colgate University, he worked with the Southwestern Company Sales and Leadership program for five summers and went on to work with a sister company Great American for over thirty years where he worked as an educational fundraiser, trainer and manager.
Steve has been married for thirty years to his wife Lauralee, an author and outdoorswoman who has hiked the entire Appalachian Trail twice. They are parents to a son, Joshua, and share their home with two dogs Eve and Skye. Steve has enjoyed working with teens in Venture Crew and youth ministry. He also can be found participating in community theater both building sets and acting on stage.
Linda Suiter
Linda placed her first exchange student over twenty years ago and got hooked on student exchange ever since. She has worked in nearly every aspect of exchange from being a Local Coordinator to Regional Manager and everything in between. She has been responsible for for the support of over a thousand students over the years. She is a relentless supporter of her students and families. To Linda, youth exchange is a life-changing opportunity, not only for the student but for the host family and host community as well. She values helping students prepare for their exchange with proper expectations. Her travels and contacts oversees enable her to help us find extraordinary students for placement, She is responsible for our intake and preparation of these students.
She lives in Arizona and enjoys mentoring, bringing up her kids, a good laugh, and traveling.
